Very nice cases. It appears that they have been re-worked and never loaded or fired afterwards.
 
4" cases

One has been fired 1969 the stencil suggests it was reloaded reworked in 1972 the other is clean brass inside 1957 all the way to the bottom also the neck has different crimping marks , ?

Someone correct me if i am wrong on this one , i thought it was to hold the case in place as it was set in the auto fuze setter . if used as AAA it went into the auto fuze setter before being loaded into Gun

Hi Ken

1 The 3 holes in the bottom of the case are for the safety primer cover
