500 lb incendiary An-M76

Hello,
The 500 lb M76 incendiary bomb normally has a phosphorus cylinder containing in its center an explosive charge of Tetrytol placed in container.

A bomb of this model discovered in France has the particularity of containing no phosphorus cylinder, but 2 bursters M14 in a cardboard container.
Do you know this particular assembly?

Thanks you.
Best regards.

Hello and thank you for this document.

In this one, there is a mention of igniter it at WP, this is the normal loading of the bomb.

But in the discovered bomb, no phosphorus but 2 bursters instead of just one!

Perhaps an end-of-war necessity?
