Riviving this old thread once again. If you ever wondered what happened to the guns (which were allegedly based on a stolen German WWII design), we gave them all to Germany's former Axis ally: Italy! From there, the Italians cuth them up & sold them to private parties in the U.S. Here is an entertaining read on one man's effort to rebuild such a gun; the story abruptly stops, though something tells me it may start again someday . . .
