57mm

Good morning,
I am trying to identify these 2 shell 57mm.

The first (left) has a smaller fuze.
The warhead is screwed and has a collar.
The belt is located 15mm from the base.
A screw cap is visible at the bottom.

The second shell (right) has a 22/31 TRN fuze.
It is a one-piece shell, the warhead is not aimed.
It measures 235mm in height.
The belt is located 25mm from the base. There is a groove at the bottom.

Thanks for all.
Best regards.

Hello, I think used in 57mm Hotchkiss 57x307, used by different nations.

Hello JulienCD68
As I told you the shell on the right is a French shrapnel 57mm (pre ww1) for fortress guns (North of France) for TRN gun (Nordenfelt) and TRH gun (I assume Hotchkiss).
Painted red with black band.
I also saw this shell in Belgians collections.
Nothing on the second shell with screw on base. I assume french experimental.

Possible 57mm for Roumania
Absolutely not. It's not in any of our manuals and we had either 15" Krupp-type, 24" locally made "Burileanu" (mostly for AA) or repurposed 10" Model 1880 fuzes (from Krupp 75mm/87mm Md.1880, used against ground targets) for our shrapnel. Besides, we had different barrel bands. There was a French manufactured HE shell, but that used a 24/31.

From the size and shape of the driving band, that is a 57mm export Maxim-Nordenfelt. Could be early Belgian M.1887 (they later switched to a driving band with one less groove) or Russian M.1888. I don't have a plan for the common pointed shell, but here are a couple for the common nose fuzed shell instead.
