After being given the projectile which had been a door stop
For many years ,I set about restoring it to somewhere near
What it should look like ,and found the round to be dated 11/1912 which was nice.
This was very local to me and on research was on the old site of the Royal Artillery prior to ww1.
Next came the case which I picked up at W&P this year but needed a lot of tlc to get it presentable.
The case is dated 18/11/1899.
