I was given this cartridge as a going away present when I left my last job. A US manufactured M64 CW/smoke projectile, dated 1945 on the body and case. It appears to have been fielded during the war. The interesting part is that it seems to have been left behind with some friends, who later re-marked it.

Nice bullet! So, what is the language, and if you have translated it, what does it say?

Hello Jeff,

Very nice 75mm M64 shell. Can I inquire who manufactured the fuze? I've never seen a U.S. made M48 with the unique scrolling marks around the bottom of the fuze.

Best regards,

Randall
