Dear professionals,

Anybody has a suggestion what kind of a fuze this is?

It is typical of several fuze series, the M48 series, M51 series and M500 series. All were evolution of the same basic fuze over the years.

M48 Fuze

What you have there is the main body of an M48 Percussion Fuze most likely an American wartime issue used on 105 mm and 155 mm HE shell.
See the circled item. you also have the small flash tube/connecting rod attached.
