Hello Chaps, can anyone pos ID this for me? I'm currently on the lines of a projected grenade due to its straight sides and safety pin. The arming vanes have thrown me a little though as I would expect these on an aerial sub-munition. It has some indistinguishable marking in the centre circle join between the fins. Any help would be much appreciated.

Looks like an Italian Brixia, Search Brixia in our search engine, and you will find several discussions about this itm.

It is definitely an Italian Brixia mortar bomb!

Also looks quite complete - a lot are missing the internals and the protective cap. Most seen are in a similar condition as shown.

(Just sold one a few months ago)
