argentinian 60 mm mortar shell?

goran_croatia

Well-Known Member
I got this mortar shell from my friend who was serving in the croatian army during the civil war in ex-Yugoslavia.He told me that this type of mortar shell came in Croatia with imported argentinian weapon in 1992.He told me that it's argentinian made 60 mm mortar shell.
Shell was delaborated by my friend a few years ago so the fuze and all other explosive filling was removed from it.
It has markings:"60 MM MORT. CTG. HE APERS, NR 431 A1 TNT,LOT FMP-51-01 06-92"

So do any of you have any info is it argentinian or??
And I would like to make the replica of it's fuse because the original fuse is missing,so please if you have any pics of it's fuze and measurments, put it in your post, thanks.

Not Argentinian

Coran,

I dont believe it's Argentinian Coran.
I'm sure it's made in Belgium. It uses the German fuze DM111A2.
I have a drawing and will send it as soon as possible.
