Has anyone seen this fuze before?
It is an AZ23N ... I cannot find any record of just a 23N.

Hallo Joe,
the photos are of a U.(Unterricht=Classroom) A.Z. 23 Nb. fuze. The small "b" is somehow missing after the "N", which stands for "Nebel"= Smoke. There are some parts missing in the sectioned fuze. The innards only fit the A.Z. 23 Nb. If you are interested I post a drawing.
Bellifortis.

I figured it was missing something, but I wanted to make sure. The museum has so many fuzes in different states knowing if they are real or not is difficult sometimes.

Hi,
I know at least one picture of U AZ 23 N (also clearly a Nb) this time from 1937.
Possibly a mistake in manufacture? I did not find any documentation with just AZ23N.
