Baton Rounds

Re:Batton Rounds

A selection of Anti-Riot Baton Rounds and blanks from my collection made and/or used by the British Army over the years. They are in date of manufacture order, left to right. Hopefully the stencilling shows ok in the pics. First pic, 1.5" Baton rounds and blanks.

Re:Batton Rounds

All these rounds have been fired and the projectiles re-inserted in the cases where applicable, in the case of the more recent 37mm, not as easy as it sounds, they are a very tight fit ! hope these pics are of some interest, Tony.

Re:Batton Rounds

Re:Batton Rounds

Hi Andy, The very early black rubber rounds and the metal cased blanks seem to be quite hard to find. The back and white cased rounds and more modern ones are plentiful and quite cheap too. The British made ARWEN rounds are scarce, try googling "ARWEN" the weapon has an interesting history. Basically a British Enfield designed weapon, it is a five shot revolving baton gun, considered "unfair" to be used on British soil ! It is now made under licence in th US and other countries and can fire all sorts of loads in the 37/38mm calibre. Tony.

It is or was possible with later rounds too i understand .
