Thought I`d take a ride out on the Z to the 1815 Waterloo Memorial. On my way came across a huge Car Boot!!
Picked up this little lot for under 20 euro`s!
25 pounder case dated 1938 good cond
3.45" case dated 1937 v good cond
French Hotchiss? 1918 75mm case (I think?) HS: 75 DEC MAI/332/18 H
2 x 12.7mm cases by FN 1964
7 x .270win cases by Browning?
1 x Norma 7mm Rem Mag case
1 x RWS 9.3 x 74R case
I`m particularly chuffed with getting the 3.45 as I believe these to be a bit rare?
There were 3 different good cond 37mm pom pom case but I thought 25 euros a bit high?
Lots of bayonets - might have to go back!!?

Apologies - for some reason not able to att pic???

The 3.45" case is a 25-pounder case, extremely common WW2 shell case in Europe. The older 25-pounder cases, like yours from 1937, have several marking including 3.45". Although not rare you them a lot less then 25-pounder MKII (I think 1 in every 15 is of your type).

25,- for 3 pom pom cases is only a lot if they are of the standard French/German type.
