An Israeli half documentary, half live action film about Leonid E. Berenstein, a Jewish Red Army lieutenant who spent most of IIWW fighting as a partisan (a forest based guerilla) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11478458/. A very interesting effort, it interviews Berenstein, by that time living in Israel, right before his death in 2019 https://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-5488013,00.html and continuously meanders from the present day interview to IIWW time (1941-1944). Berenstein had a stroke which made his speech slurry, he speaks Russian. As a matter of fact, most of the movie is in Russian, with small exceptions of Polish, French and German. Berenstein was very important at the end of IIWW since he located a secret German V-2 missile production factory in Poland. A must to anyone interested in IIWW Ukrainian Front (my grandfather was there).
