I'm lost with designations of TOW missiles series. Is it a BTM-71, training (practice) version of BGM-71 (TOW) ?
So what is the M220 designation ?

M220 is the designation of practice warhead, which is fitted to the BTM-71A series of Basic TOW and ER TOW practice missiles.

The chart was all scrambled when I tried to copy/paste, so a screen shot of Appendix E from my book is attached. Ironically, I used the TOW to explain the US missile naming convention.
