Bofors 40mm Projectile I.D

I have this cutaway projectile which i believe to be from a 40mm Bofors round and am hoping someone can shed so light on the markings.

Not all of the markings are there as some have been cut away but the bit I'm confused about is where it is stamped mm/L52, i have heard of a L60 and a L70 but not a L52??

Am i getting confused with stampings? Is this just a standard HE 40mm/L70 projectile?

Projectile length without fuze - 165mm
Projectile length with fuze - approx 208mm

Stampings remaining on fuze -

FUZE PPD M4A7 LO

Stampings remaining on projectile -

mm/L52
S 11/56
80

It might be worth to remove the defacing paint.

I am not sure what that would achieve? As the paint only covers the inner surface and the cut edges so is not covering up any markings or anything.

What does it achieve by being there and covering the original surface? Also it has never been there from factory nor was it intended to be like that...
Views and tastes (if the latter apples to ammo research at all) are different...
