Yes, headstamp and pictures especially, otherwise no-one has any idea of what your talking about! 
That's a 3.7" anti aircraft. Stamped for an HE projectile with a smoke box. There are pictures on here of the projectile for this.

Hi Leonard, the first 2 cases pictured are British Army 3.7in anti-aircraft gun cases and should measure 94mm across the mouth and 675mm long. Being in Malta it is logical that you have anti-aircraft gun cases and these guns would have been used to defend the island manned by Royal Artillery personnel. The second case is a Royal Navy 5.25in naval gun, made for the navy shown by the N it should be 133mm at the mouth and 778mm long. This gun was mounted on warships for both anti-aircraft and firing at surface targets, I doubt that these guns were emplaced on Malta itself. You mention Semi-armour piecing shell SAP, this would have a mustard yellow base colour the same as British anti-aircraft shells.
