brass projectile identification please,

Hello Everyone,this is my first post and I am not too clued up on computers,I have in my collection a solid brass projectile,it is 25mm,78mm long with copper driving bands,there are 3 driving bands,12 grooves with right hand twist,I bought this in Normandy last year at a ww2 Jeep spares shop,they did not know what it was or anything about it,any help identifying this would be most welcome,many thanks Don,

It is a French

practice shot for the 25mm Anti Tank gun. Others should have more information about it.

Hi Many thanks for identifying the brass projectile,I have spent ages searching the web without sucsess until I found the BOCN site,would this projectile be of ww2 vintage,once again thanks for your help,

As said, it is french ; WW2 ; for the Hotchkiss 25mm anti-tank gun.

Your shell is not common.
These shells exist as your : all bronze or brass ...
it's possible to find them in steel (with copper driving bands)
