C.S 42 italian mine

Hi

New "member" in my collection,a C.S 42 mine.I think,it's the third model.Some has a nice pic or maybe something in color of the charge.Use with four bakelit igniters,but I don't know how it will be made inside.

For third model I suppose You mean the variant with sliding pressure plate, right ?

Yes,with a wooden sliding pressure plate.I try to know how was the charge inside.

All CS 42s (CS 42, CS 42/2 and CS 42/3) have a charge formed by 25 200 grams TNT blocks, named "cartuccia regolamentare No. 2". 5 kg TNT.
