C235 Before

Hi All,

This is my new project and to start it off i have a few snaps of the before. This is a C235 dated 1949 and contained 5 hayrick demolition charges (Necklace). It is going to need to be straightened out in place's and there is a large amount of rust as you will see from the photo's, but steel appears to be sound. I have managed to retrieve some of the original markings from the box and hope that as I strip the over paint off more will reappear. I will update this post as I progress.

Cheers for that Dano, The inside of the C235 Hayrick box is very good so I will leave it as it is, but the outside will take couple of months of hard work to bring it back up.

It's an old trooper and they are still in service. In fact of all the C235s I have seen they are all war dated, never seen a post war dated one at all.

Hi Lcplcombat, There was two of them and the other one was dated 1941, but unfortunately was beyond saving. Which is a shame as I would have liked to have had the older of the two.
