Can anybody name this WWI 3 inch orphan?

Hi all,

I have a German 75mm brass case here I got for cheap, and I have been looking in vain for the matching projectile ever since.

I read in the U.K. and Europe the matching projectile is still found and not particularly prized, but in the States these items
never made it across the pond in anything like the numbers that still lie embedded in French and Belgian fields and collections.

So I submit this I just found at auction.....most likely a Brit or French 75mm variety, but who knows? If you do not ask you don't find out.

So here are two photos for your opinion.

That Driving band is so unreal in diameter and roundness and just looks like it is "sitting" over the body.
