Cap badge ID

I have this cap badge, which hooks through a hole in the side of a trench-arted German 77mm case.

I looked online and from what I have found in may be the Royal Regiment of Canada.

Am I right, or is it something else entirely? Unfortunately I know nothing about these.

Thanks in advance for any info.

cap badge

Hi Falcon, First of all I know zippo about cap badges. What I do know is your avatar has to be about the coolest i've ever seen. Looks like that could really hurt. Kind of reminds me of bringing WW1 technology into the 21st century. I do hope someone answer your post who can actually help...Dano

the cap badge is the "army service corps" sorry cant tell you anymore than that.
regards spotter

They became "Royal" in late 1918,and many non members of this Corps
unkindly suggested that RASC stood for "Run Away Someones Coming".
That was until numerous supply columns of theirs were captured by the
Germans in North Africa,it then became "Rommel's Auxiliary Supply Corps"
