Dutch Eihandgraanat No.3

Well-Known Member
Hi,

New acquisition, several pieces of dutch No.3 grenades.
Some of them, still in good condition.
Marked with black "36" and "37" stamp.

Question;
This stamp mean's the year of production of body, or year of filling grenade?

Best Regards.

Nice stuff wc.KZ, Had never seen the lighter ones but do recognize the fragmented body. That 37 stamp shows nicely. Thanks for showing..Dano

Dutch pre WW2 offensive grenades are very rare, congratulations with your find, I hope it was a bargain!

Of course, ;)
Here two more pics of another; with "36" stamp.
...I think that they will be much more this grenades.
Unfortunately, all without cup and "safety pin".

Dutch grenade No 3

Wz KC

36 and 37 are the dates the grenade was made the size should be 16 mm high.
About 120 grams of trtyl in them normally.

regards,

Chris

Unfortunately, all without cup and "safety pin".

Place an ad with the "wanted" section, there are many Dutch readers. I'm quite shure it will not take too long before you have what you are looking for.

The correct name is "Eihandgranaat", not "Eihandgraanat". I guess you just made a typo, but ok.. :)

Hi,

Unfortunately contition of some of them, is worse than I thought :(
One of them, be crushed while cleaning...
Thin sheet - 0,3mm - corrosion did the rest.
I took out only brass central tube.

But this is not a tragedy - all of them cost me nothing anyway.
BTW, now I have more of No.3, and a few will be really pretty.
And the rest? ...well, it will be more central tubes :D

Regards.
