Early .50 cal metal ammo box on SAS Jeep.

I've been trying to identify and get details for this .50 cal ammo box for a Browning ANM2 gun on WW2 SAS Jeeps. I believe it's from an aircraft, most likely an observers or rear gunners mount. Any photos and dimensions would be great too. TIA
