Hey Guys, Thought you would like to see the new additions to my collection. An early M9A1 Rifle grenade and a MKII with a M10A1 fuze. Hope ya like.

Excellent examples of the good old days! I've never seen a yellow rifle grenade before. Thanks for posting!

The color code changed in 1942 from yellow to OD Green for non sea ammunition. Naval ship ammunition had a different color code that changed at a later date.
 
Fantastic pair. What year did they change the yellow HE colouring?

Like HAZORD says it was 1942. If you dig through the OCM reports it shows up as being approved on 11 March 1942 but I haven't seen the actual implementation date so you could guess it was sometime that summer.
 
Thanks guys, I was surprised to find the tube with all its small parts, looks just like my bazooka but a smaller version.
