Hear is one of my newest additions, which will need some
playing with but is the most complete working 17 i have

I need to manufacture a winding key as these clocks function but
cant get enough power to the main spring.

It has a matching clock case to the switch block as denoted by the numbers 25a.

Hmmmm always nice!!! that worries me, but i will take the key with me, Greetings BJ

That sure is one great looking 17 you have there Phil!!
Superb photos lovely to see it disassembled like that.

What is the story with the key?
I'm presuming that the 17's were factory wound, so is the key you talk about used when assembling the fuze?

regards
Kev

Hi Kev thanks for that:tinysmile_shy_t:

The clocks could be wound at any time due to them being almost like a conventional clock movement.

Hear is a comparison picture of the econemy pattern 17b fuse
i beleive this had a shorter time run of 80 to 135 minutes, and
wasnt stamped on the fuse cap.

This one is another stripable fuse and the clocks tick well.

I have posted this before but wanted to show the comparison.
