Elaz 25 and 26

Hi Chaps,
Here are a couple of fuzes that have arrived on the slow boat!

Early series type 25 made by Rheinmetal if im correct with the 'AA' code? Im certain you boys have mentioned its an early code before 'Rhs'?

The 25 seems to look like it may shine up with a bit of attention,the 26 is in good condition and needs a little care.Maybe it will find its way into the swaps forum or i may section it? That also is 1940 dated and made by 'AA'

They look like very good potential to be minted up and good solid
headstamps aswell.

dont forget i have the green match for the 26:tinysmile_shy_t:

Nice one my old pal.Not sure whether to swap it as is,repaint and/or section?

Is the colour on yours how mine should look if it was 69 years younger?
Is it the same colour as a 50B Y? my Y fuze seems a lighter green.

This was just painted and i have now polished the paint up which has
made it closer still,for match with a bit of uv over time this will fade up
lovely as its original base colour was a pastel blue shade

Understood,UV fade. A few weeks in the windowsill and turn it every few days should sort?

Steve,what would be a worthy swap for a 26 to a german fuze/ordnance collector?
I have one in the collection and bought this as 'swap currency'. I wont bother sectioning it. :)

Hello! I have that by a color alignment the color of the El.AZ-26 = ral 6033 Minttrkis am found out. It was manufactured of the industrial union colors. See: Ral color table under www.neutruck.com Greeting Harry
