Trench Art is not usually my thing but I got this engraved 2cm Becker round with some other stuff.
It Is engraved with "1918 BAVAY 1919". The engraving has been extremely well done, and is of what I would call professional quality. Unfortunately there is a 3.5mm hole dilled in the sides of both the case and projectile.
Bavay is a town in Northern France a few miles from the Belgian border.
The headstamp is: "P&S" above the primer with "Sp" over "61" underneath the primer. There is no date on the case, but the projectile is dated 1918. What manufacturer does "P&S" indicate?
Thanks for any info.
