Hi Bloome in my book this one is even rarer as Phosphorus is not something to meddle with and the easy option is to destroy it !

You have quite a few really nice items in your collection and unusual too.

It is very rare to see exploders or smoke containers as the exploders certainly are always the first things to be removed and destroyed.

I have them al long time in my collection, and
did not know they are rare!
so learned again tonight! thanks for info.
Also i have a larger piece in my collection, i will post it to you!

I think these came out of a 25pdr .The projectile they were found in had no fuze which is why one of them is partially rotted away
