Hi all, I have just finished a 75mm shrapnel shell that i bought from super7 nice one Jan and thanks, as you can see from the first pic it did not have a top as they usually get blown off, but searching in my junk box i found a fuze and top that was given to me by spotter last year and had forgotten about it so thanks Allan very much, but i didn't have to do to much to it i soaked it in hammerite dip over night and put it on a lathe and used wet and dry sandpaper and a little filler and then gave it a couple of coat's of red oxide mixed with some black to age it a bit, and the final pic is in its case next to an HE round.
Best
Andy

To safe on postal costs I had this steel lump of almost 3 kg strapped to
the back of my bicycle to the UK when I did a week's cycling holiday to
finish the last part of the North Sea Cycle Route. Seeing Andy's end result
it was certainly worth the effort (thanks Andy for your kind donation to the
Leukaemia Research Fund, and a job well done on the restoration).

Regards, Jan
