French Billiant 1916 Fuses What are the Numbers????

Hi, pics of some fuses I came upon. Does anyone know what the " 18 36" and "218" are stamped on the one?? Is that a date??? What are the meaning of the other numbers on the stem/det part??

Did they use these fuses until 1936, and into WW2?? :nerd:

Does anyone know a source, or have for sale or trade the small striker parts that are missing on both??

Regards, Steve

Yes, they were used in WWII. And the internal parts are always or almost always missed when they are inerted.

Hello Miguel my friend, good to hear from you. Thank you for the info.

Did you know anything about the numbers on the one fuse that is marked?
Is that fuse you think a later Billiant, maybe "37" is s a date?

I like to know all small details of grenades in my collection. :nerd:

Hello

I'm not sure the Billant 1916 was used at WWII because there was the fuze Mle 35 (1935) instead.

The fuze M35 was very usual : differents delay, detonator and no-detonator. As the Billant, there was two primers on it.

The text in attachment says around the cap, the number mean : manufactory, lot and year of making
