German 7,7cm WW1 with Fuze dummy

Got this just now can anyone provide any help on this? drawings ,manuals or help regarding the color ??
Any help is required i gues its an practice round but i am not sure about it !!

Dummy german 7.7cm shell must have a hollow base and stamp Ex
The top plug look externally the KZ16 fuze
All Ex shell i've found has hollow base

Thanks for your help on this i have to say the cap is hollow and has the same tread as the fuze which get normaly fittit in it !
The seller told me a lot of this kind o grenades getting found in france but this was the first one which i have seeing !
even in my manual nothing to be found on this kind of nose cap !

I am pretty sure that the projectile that you show is not a 77mm round,the
77mm rounds have double crimping canulers,not single,I suspect it is a 75mm projectile.

It is likely for the 1916 model 7.7

Which is separate loading, you are thinking of the Model 96 which used fixed ammunition. The case shown is for the Model 1916 and has not crimping as it wasn't fixed to the projectile.

yes right the case its not for this shell it came along with the shell i only use the old pictures to post it here !
From a other forum i got just now the information that it should be a Kanonengranate 16 with Znderersatz stck a practise round !
