Is there any dimensional difference between boxes Nr. 1 and 2? Internally perhaps?
The box sizes should conform dimensions of the fuzes.
See attached pictures of box Nr. 3.
I have also seen a very short box but unfortunately have no picture.

Yes there is a big difference inside.
The No. 2 has a longer section at the tip and therefore holds a shorter fuze like the I gr Z23 nA.

The No. 1 holds a longer fuze like a AZ 23 or a Zt Z time fuze.

Thanks StielGr, Our army sold in the past a big number of boxes Nr. 1. So that was the reason for my question as these two look externally similar.

Does anyone have a picture of the short box?
