German Locking ring key

I am sure that you will find that the key ring you have, is from the "Quilter " key kit used for securing or removing locking rings from thicker cased bombs and that it's been modified for normal locking rings to give more leverage. Me think?

Im positive that this is a German armourers spanner for removing or tightening the locking rings on bombs , its the equivelent of our Quilter key , its a nice item not often seen., being German and waffenampt stamped its a grand find paul

YIPEE FOUND IT PAUL ITS A Schlussel fur Zunderbefestigung its for Befestigen (for tightening)

Fl 53537
