Hi,, nice all original grenade, and with the 1944 stamp amd crimped collar. the pressed collar thread was introduced around 1943 so not to many of the WC43's with machined threads around.
In general overall a nice original grenade. Regards to price,,,i think it is a personal thing on how much a buyer/collector wants to spend on a piece for his collection i.e how bad do you want an item. But these are getting harder to find these days and a real minty is going to weigh you in at over 400 without the fuse and pull cord ( 70.00 on their own as a set) does the sleeve remove from the can ?
Regards nick...

All I can say is enough 300 what do you think?

This is about $485US, this is a fair price, but cheaper is always better. :tinysmile_grin_t:
If you like the grenade is all that matters. You will always be able to get your money out of it, maybe more in future. Everybody always wants these grenades.

I forgot to say I like it also because it has the detonator well in the head, these are usually cut out and gone. It is very nice mid-war grenade.

Here is my M24 head with intact detonator well. Condition is not good, it was cheap, dated 44, but it is my only head that has the detonator well, so I put a frag sleeve for display. I'm looking for a correct mid-late war stick for it sometime.
Be careful,Do not become addicted to M24 now.

Regards, Steve

Hi all thanks for the reply i like the way it has the well in the head, the sleeve will remove but i do not want to take it off as it may damage the can.
