The little woman and I just ate dinner. I took 3 large butternut squash, skinned them, cut them in half and deseeded. Then I cut the squash into 1 inch chunks and hickory water smoked them (in Brinkman 2 tier game smoker) for 1 1/2 hours. Put squash in a mixing bowl, add 1/2 cup butter and 1/4 cup brown sugar and beat as mashed potatoes. Serve hot. What a treat. Try it!!! Dano
