Looking at the extreme mechanical complexity of the G11 and taking battlefield conditions into account (fouling, dust, mud) I would absolutely prefer a AK-47. Works guaranteed, an eight year old child can maintain it, and on the distances the guy in the you tube demonstration is firing at targets an AK-47 will do as well.

May not be my first choice of weapon either (the KISS principle wins every time) - and the complex mechanism more suitable for a "mantel piece clock".
However it was one of the first experimental caseless rifles developed and probably has a very high price tag for collecting purposes (ha - if you could find one!).
Then there's the chemical ammo to find :tinysmile_twink_t2:..................
