Good afternoon
Could anyone identify this for me please? I picked it up on the somme in 1996. Just re discovered it in a box of bits. I've always wondered what it was
Many thanks in advance
John

Hello,

it's an exploded gaine of a German Dopp.Z.15 series fuze with parts of the safety mechanism.

Thank you - I still can't see it as a fuse? maybe Im looking at it wrong, but it has a closed end at one end (blown open) and a brass screw plug the other? where would it sit? I have googled the fuse number you said - it looks nothing like it?

It's not a complete fuze just the gaine/exploder. Your pictures are upside down. See attached picture for clarification. The gaine was also used with the Gr.Z.04.
