Czech fuze VG-SKR nice item. The detonator safety is missing, I am not sure about the price.

Hallo,
your fuze is a impact-time (powder train) fuze,
it was used by the czechoslovak army before WW2, exported to Yugoslavia, Turkey and possibly other countries. Some modifications could be made to acomodate the fuzes different ammo. After the occupation czech and yugoslav guns and ammo were used by the Germans. The Skoda Werke ( that became part of the german war industry) were offering the fuzes,

VG-SKR means:
V- velky - large (there was also a small one)
G-granatovy-for shells
SK - with SK impact mechanism (there was also a C impact mechanism see VG-CR)
R - rozbuskova pojistka - detonator safety

Your fuze is missing the det safety and the internal parts of the SK mechanism.

Most important thing about the fuze: I DON'T HAVE ONE!

Regards, Bob

Hallo Miguel,
if You unscrew the top part of the SK there should be three balls visible.
You can measure inside cavity, if its about 3cm deep you miss all the parts.

It is a beautiful item anyway.

Regards, Bob
