it's a French double walled shell for "Systeme de Reffye" guns. Diameter should be 83 mm.

Thankyou ALPINI, do you know what fuze it should have and what year/era is this shell

Hi,
Your shell is probably a french"Obus ordinaire de 7 Modle 1877"Systme de Reffye de 83mm (Used since 1873). You can find various types of 25 mm fuzes:
- Demarest Mle 1859 & Maucourant(Early for trying)
- Henriet Mle 1874
- Budin Mle 1875 de campagne 25/38 mm (Current service)
- Mle 1878 SM (Sige et Montagne) Possible.
- Mle 1878/81 SM (Rare)
As suggests Alpini, it could be also the model 1875 (Try in 1874) with double wall, The same height and same calibre but a different internal configuration.Fuze:
- Henriet Mle 1874 (First)
-Budin Mle 1875 de campagne 25/38 mm (After)

Best regards
