Information on 1942 UK Float Smoke

Hi there peps,
At current i am taking part in a UXO identification ex as a part of a course i am on. I Have identified my Item as a UK Float Smoke No1 Mk2 - 4 and 4z it was used in 1942 by the Fleet Air Arm air dropped from the "Swordfish" and was used as a marker thats about all there is on the net about it could someone please supply me with additional information about the above item please i.e weight and type of fill, method of functioning etc
