Japanese Army Arsenal Marks - Help Complete

BOUGAINVILLE

Well-Known Member
Hi there Lads,

Need a wee bit of a helping hand here to help complete this list of Japanese Army Arsenal Stamps and Filling Marks as found on Army Ordnance. You might hopefully be able fill some of the empty spaces or you might have some marks not listed here. If so I would like to hear from you.

Many thanks in advance,

Cheers,
BOUGAINVILLE

U.S.N.B.D only had 2 pages for the Army. A bunch for the Navy. Included them all, unresized, so they may be embiggened.

The drawings of assorted shells sometimes ID the markings, as well.

Many thanks Slick for the information.

Unfortunately it didn't help me fill the gaps in the information that I had compiled.

I also posted the same request on Japanese Forum on Gunboards and also had no response.

I'm actually compiling this list as a favour for Don Voigt who is updating his book on the Japanese Type 89 50mm Mortar.

He had tried before posting a request in the Japanese Forum on gunboards and likewise had no response. I thought that I would give it a try anyway.

Cheers,
