Latest Restoration. Rare 1WW French Aperge Foug Grenade

Hi All. heres another rare grenade ive restored. The Asperge Foug, a cylindrical version of the more common Citron Foug. hope you all like it. ive never seen another one of these, has anyone got any pics of another?

That is one I have never seen. Love those strange obscure WWI grenades! I really like AustroHungarian and Russian WWI grenades.

Here is a quick pic of some of my unusual grenades. Left to right, British WWI grenade (forget the type)?, North Vietnamese, Italian WWI, Unknown WWI grenade

Nice job Paul. I've never seen one of these despite going to maybe a hundred French militaria fairs in the last 15 years. John
 
Left gren is the hand thrown version of the Newton Pippin grenade.



That is one I have never seen. Love those strange obscure WWI grenades! I really like AustroHungarian and Russian WWI grenades.

Here is mine (Had tried to post before but for some reason it never took, I will probably end up with 4 copies of this post :neutral:)

As an aside, I have decided to curtail most of my collecting, and after offering it to a few US collectors/dealer, Jeff Shrawder from Advanced Guard Militaria has bought the entire (133+) collection as well as my extra parts . So if you're interested, watch Jeff's catalogues in the near future (he picks them up the end of December)
