Was this related to / a better development of the XM-54 rocket which was also 115 mm?

thanks.
but can someone tell me if it was related to the XM-54?
Jeff? this is confusingme

anybody know who made these and in what numbers?
GOCO or COCO?

very nice Pete.
still wondering how this was all developed and what the concept was

Concept was, kill the bad guys so they don't kill you.

very good my thoughts exactly. :-D

nevertheless, maybe some dear BOCN member could enligthen us with RDT&E info / manufacturer info- this is part of ordnance history and quite interesting.

one more question: whcih other 115 mm weapon systems did the US military use in the 40s 50s ?

PS what kind of metal were the parts made of?
