Need help ... WW2 GB Shells

Good evening.

With friends, we have several WW2 British shell casings, mainly antitank.

We would reproduce warheads and fuzes, but we find no manual or diagram with the measurements, weight and marks of each type.

Is there a manual where you can find pictures and explanations?

Thank you for your help

Hi BlackBull11,
If you can post a picture of the Shell cases , with dimensions, i'm sure BOCN members will be able to help identify them and give details of the relevant projectiles.
Cheers
Gary

Hi,

good evening,

I like to know the different models of British shells (WW2)

- 6 pounder
- 17 pounder
- 3 inch
- 75mm

Thx

It may be easier just to get some real projectiles for your cases. None of the rounds you mention are that rare (don't get me wrong, they are very nice cases to have) and would look very nice with the correct projectiles.

Dave.
