I am seeking information on the pictured (Inert) grenade, which appears to me to possibly be a training aid. Measures approximately 70 MM in diameter and 108 MM in height with fuze. Body is thin sheet steel, seam welded around the center (No Interior Frag Coil or Matrix). Body also has a 10 MM Hole in the base.

Fuze system is a "mock up" consisting of a steel fuze base attached to the body from the interior with a machine screw (no provisions for a detonator, primer or striker). The Steel Fuze Lever is spring loaded and secured by a ring / pin as shown. Any information would be appreciated .............

Thanks and stay safe,

Frank

I agree with movie prop. The spring would make the spoon fly off, and simulate a real grenade, in an action scene.
