Whilst working on a contract to secure empty flats for
demolition in London,i came across an old persons property
that had not been cleared of furniture due to his passing away.

The furniture was normal old style veneered oak, which was
common place through the thirties onwards.

There were chests of drawers that although emptied had
newspapers as drawer liners, and a lot of them.

when i started to look at the newspapers to get some date
from them they turned out to be all 1940 editions and key
events from WW2.

France surrenders, peace in our time,Coventry bombing,
and the Battle of Britain.

Hear are two which i thought were very interesting when i sat
down to read them the other day.
