No 101 II

Here is another fuze from the museum ... as you can see the faint No 101 II in the side. However there are many different markings on there. I think most are not part of the original item.

Thoughts?

The letter between the 101 and II, I take to be a poorly struck E indicating that this is a 101 fuze incorporating a saftey shutter. What appears to be 'PP' in a diamond is th makers monogram - as yet unknown to me. The other stampings are more than likely lot numbers. There should be dates and the monogram of the filling station stamped somewhere on it.
