HI. A friend owns this No 26 green generator smoke catcher. Does the PN435N marking indicate the type of compound? Thanks for info.

Yes - PN 435M Identifies the particular pyrotechnic mixture.
PN - Porton Number (A number of pyrotechnic mixtures were formulated at Porton Down)
