From my untrained eye there appears to be two different kinds of 'projectiles' in the photo- or is it camera angle? One row appears to have a blunter nose to me.

Any background info regarding the photo waff?
First / Second War, you said German so presume of that nationality.

I'll leave this one to the ones in the know.

I bought the photy from an auction site and it described picture as 'german bombs'.
At the time i couldnt make out if they were proj's or bomb cases?
Wel spotted on the different types in the pic.

Waff, the case is quite short, it is loaded behind the bagged charge and obturates the breech.

There are some pictured in the lower left picture of the link above. The bagged charge is also shown.
