Looking the member list i see that many countries appear .

Is it possible to have a statistic of :

  • Countries of our members (all the countries)
  • Number of members per country
  • Number of EOD professionals or former professionals in the totality of the members : 2082 members ? (per country or not)
and for USA , by states

Thank you in advance

Hello Kz11 i personally cant say how many members are from where, but there was a previous post on the subject and i posted where members or hits on site came from http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/-t34513.html?t=34513&highlight=countries
.Bolo has access to a map of the world in his controls showing where people have accessed bocn from it didnt show individual members but basically it was global apart from a few countries in africa and a few in south america.

It would be very difficult as here in the uk there are lots of nationalities
Im English not British.(born and bred in Pinner).

I'm with you Steve,
Born in Portsmouth, (just north of the Isle of Wight), so I must also be English!
Cheers,
Guy.

Ime English too, born and bred in the last place God made, according to Henry V111.
He didnt like Gainsborough, Lincolnshire very much.

Andy

Hope dont offense anybody, but Id like to know what is the difference between English and British? Maybe like me? Im Catalonian, (born at Barcelona, Catalunya), but in the country of Spain.

Hello Grenademan,
No need to worry about a can of worms here;
England is a part of the 'United Kingdom' known as 'Great Britain', (a hangover from the days of the British Empire), The other members of the UK constitute, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Southern Ireland is independent.
We enjoy lighthearted banter between ourselves with no malicious intent whatsoever.
Like many others when confronted with an official document which almost certainly offers a list of boxes to tick regarding your nationality, ie; White, Black, mixed race, Asian, Polish, British, other, etc. etc..we take a perverse satisfaction in erasing 'other', and replacing it with 'English'! I hope the others do the the same, lightheartedly of course, because perhaps I'm the only old bloke that does? I'm expecting the PC 'thought police' to knock down my door at any moment!
Any thoughts from any nationalities welcome, I expect to get shouted out by the Scottish Nationists, but I love their country as much as any other, and subscribe to no political party whatsoever.
Best regards to all, and I mean ALL,
navyman.

I'm happiest as English although I hold a British passport. The way I always remember these islands and their nationalities is: It is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Great Britain comprises England, Scotand and Wales. Now we no longer have an empire then I guess just `Britain' would be more correct. People from any of the four countries (Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England) can freely travel to any of the others of those countries without having to use a passport. The laws and customs might vary a little but all people in those countries are treated pretty much equally, I think (says he keeping his foot tightly on the can of worms).

Hello Ammotechxt,
I don't think we have opened any wormcans here, at the very least it may have diverted opinions away from the can of breasts we've had recently!
Don't take me too seriously, I've had a good day in the workroom today, everything went to plan when I was expecting a difficult job, now that makes a pleasant change.
Cheers,
navyman.

I know which I'd rather look at. The present Mrs XT hasn't seen breasts on this site, however she calls it my `Bomb porn' site. A spin-off from our daughter referring to my wife's `Living France' magazine as `French porn', or a `home/furnishings' magazine as `house porn'.

I do all that, but only to be difficult really. I hate all the new rules and PC stuff and people saying, "OH! You can't say that!" Free speach aye? What a load of sh*te! Oh well, play the game and one day I shall retire and be a miserable 'outspoken' old boy.

Oh, I'm English by the way. Born in Leicester, but moved when I was 1. My dad was a prison officer so we moved every couple of years around the country. Properly grew up in Staines and now live right next to Heathrow airport.

Steve,
I can remember being the only person to stand for the National Anthem at the end of cinema shows. I lost two girlfriends because of that, they were embarrassed. As I was in uniform I had no option, but when I was allowed ashore in civvies I still did it as a reliability test for later girlfriends. It worked, I found a good one!
Sweet dreams,
navyman.

Great thread lads!

I do like our Welsh,Irish and Jockanese UK friends too! :p

Yes,

but the subject of the post is only statistical ,
